Stories of Faith – Livestream

Join us on the 5th of October for the global livestream of “Stories of Faith”, a program celebrating 175 years of Adventist Literature. The morning program runs from 9:30am through to 12:15pm, and the afternoon program runs from 3:00pm to 4:30pm AEST.

Ellen White Symposium

Join us on our live stream and social channels for the 2024 Ellen White Symposium. A collaboration between Adventist Heritage organisations and leading academics, this symposium will unveil the life and works of Ellen White like never before through the topics of: Anti-Slavery and Early Black Adventism, Social and Political Engagement, and Understanding Difficult Predictions.

October 8 & 17

The Hopeful

On October 8th, “The Hopeful”, which tells the story of the birth of Adventism, will be specially released for our Adventist community. On the 17th, the film officially opens nationwide in theatres.

Heritage Day Picnic

Join us at Sunnyside on Saturday afternoon, October 12 for our heritage day picnic. Bring your picnic baskets and your best 1800s costumes and bask on the lawns before taking a tour of the historic home of Sunnyside. “The Narrow Way” will be screening in the hall.

If you can’t make it to Sunnyside, we invite you to run a heritage picnic on your own church lawns to celebrate heritage month.

The Great Appointment, 3rd Edition

Join us for the highlight of Heritage Month: The Great Appointment, 3rd Edition. Celebrating the year of the literature evangelist, our drama this year is taken from “Stories of Faith” and features some incredible young talent. With competitions, children’s activities, and incredible stories to tell, this program is sure to engage the whole family!

We are publishing brand new daily devotional and podcast every day this month. Choose from these options to either read or listen to the devotionals created by some of Australia’s leading literature evangelists.

Do you have children who love colouring in? From October 1 – 31, the Adventist Heritage Centre is running a Heritage Heroes colouring competition for children ages 3 – 12. Details for submission are included on the back of the sheet. Our winners will be judged by the Heritage staff and announced on our Facebook and Instagram accounts on the last day of Heritage Month, October 31.
